Ingridients

For 10 patties:

2 raw beets

1 small sweet potato

1 small onion

1 teaspoon of minced garlic powder

2 tablespoons of yeast flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds

1 tablespoon of flax seeds

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 teaspoon of salt

a pinch of pepper

4 tablespoons of flour

4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons of frying oil (for frying patties)

Preparation

Peel and grate the beets and potatoes. Wipe off any beet stains on the counter quickly, as it will be more difficult later.

Add chopped onion, garlic, flakes, seeds, oil, salt and pepper.

We add the flour and breadcrumbs gradually, as we may not need all of it. It depends on the size of the beets and potatoes and how much juice they release. We need to get a thick enough mass to form patties – form about 10 balls and gently flatten them with the palm of your hand to form patties.

Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat, carefully place the patties in the pan and brown them well on each side. So much so that they get a nice color.

Serve with a side dish of your choice.
