Vegan pulled jackfruit


For 2 people:

200 g jackfruit

1 onion

1 ½ teaspoons cumin

3 teaspoons smoked peppers

3 teaspoons sweet pepper

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1 cup vegetable soup base

3 teaspoons tomato sauce



1 teaspoon oil (can be without)

bread of your choice (kajzerice without ingredients of animal origin)

vegan sauces of your choice (vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, soy cream, salsa, BBQ sauce, etc.)


2 cups red cabbage (grated)

1 cup carrots (grated)

lemon juice


3 tablespoons soy cream

rice syrup


Fry the chopped onion in water or a teaspoon of oil. When the onion smells good, add the jackfuit to it and fry it all together for about 5-10 minutes. Add all the spices and vegetable broth base and cook or fry all together for about 20-30 minutes.

Prepare the salad by just mixing all the ingredients together and salting and sweetening to taste.
Assemble a sandwich and add a variety of vegan sauces (vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, soy cream, salsa, BBQ sauce, etc.) if desired.
