It’s really encouraging that alternatives to meat are being discovered and so that meat flakes can still satisfy their need for this particular taste/texture – it doesn’t remove for me the worry that it does not fully protect all animals as it actually allows for people to continue eating dead animals and being almost soothed into feeling less guilt because they’re not response for as many animals being murdered as they were before. I guess by reducing it might help them transition but really, unless someone is vegan, I am not interested in helping to make them feel better about themselves whilst they continue to pay for animal exploitation/abuse/cruelty/suffering/murder.
