Anyone who loves to drink herbal teas will be thrilled with hemp tea if you don’t know it yet. Industrial hemp is known for the fact that the consumption of its products is very healthy and welcome. These products include oils, pasta, seeds, butter, milk, proteins and, of course, hemp tea, to which we will dedicate a few words today.
As the results of studies have shown, hemp tea has a very good effect on our body and so we can list quite a few positive effects. First of all, we can mention that tea has a very calming effect, as it relaxes the body and works against stress. If your workday is stressful, it is good to drink a cup of tea while working, but the tea will certainly be pleasant even after a busy day, thus contributing to a better general well-being. Experts advise that it is advisable to drink a cup of tea before bed as well, as it will improve your sleep. It is especially recommended for people who have problems with quality sleep.
It contains a lot of magnesium and iron, so it is a source of good nutrients that our body needs. Tea also has a very good and positive effect on the immune system. Although tea can be a great refreshment in the summer, it is also a very important drink on cold, winter days, where the immune system needs special attention.
Hemp tea also helps with digestive disorders as it soothes them and has a very beneficial effect on the digestive tract. It also has a very positive effect on the functioning of the cardiovascular system. It helps lower blood sugar and cholesterol, and reduces body weight when drunk regularly.
If you suffer from inflammation or other diseases, hemp tea naturally relieves pain and has an anti-inflammatory effect. It is also recommended to take it when you have kidney problems. It is also a very good antioxidant, protects the body from bacteria and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
If you do not have any of these problems, the consumption of hemp tea in general will have a very good effect on your well-being as it raises energy levels.
Research has shown that you will achieve a greater positive effect by drinking tea regularly, so you can drink it several times a day (it is recommended to consume up to three cups a day). It is also suitable for children, but in this case a smaller, at least half daily dose is recommended.
For those who are not yet familiar with hemp tea, it should be added that hemp tea does not contain psychoactive substances and opiates, so drinking this tea does not cause intoxication or addiction.
Hemp tea is made from young flower tops made up of the leaves and immature seeds of industrial hemp, which are hand-picked at the height of the plant’s growing season. The collected flower tops are then dried in warm air for several days.
It is best to use fresh water to make tea (some also use milk instead of water). Pour a pinch of the mixture with 2 dcl of boiling water and leave for 5 -10 minutes. The tea is then strained and is ready to drink.
