ECOLOGICAL FOOD IS TOO EXPENSIVE???

Many say organic, naturally grown food is more expensive. Is that true?

MORE MINERALS, VITAMINS AND OTHER HEALTHY SUBSTANCES
Did you know that fruit grown in a natural, organic way contains more vitamins and minerals than an equally heavy fruit made from plastics? It is also distinguished by up to 70% higher content of medicinal antioxidants.

MORE TASTY AND SATISFIED
More substances means that we are full sooner, and there are more substances that give food flavor.

NO HIDDEN HEALTH COSTS
With normal food, we also introduce artificial pesticides, fertilizers and other artificial additives into our bodies, which are carcinogenic, mutagenic, damage the intestines and cause disorders of the hormonal system. By eating organic food, we can avoid the diseases it can cause, and thus the cost of treatment.

NO HIDDEN COSTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION
Organic food production does not cause hidden costs of pollution and unfavorable management of natural resources (water, air, land…), on which we are vitally dependent. It reduces the consequences of the climate and environmental crisis, as organic farming is banned in organic farming, which is largely responsible for this crisis.

ORGANIC FOOD PRESERVING LIVING AND FERTILIZED SOILS AND BIODIVERSITY IN GENERAL
Life in the soil, where trillions of microscopically small bacteria, fungi, algae, small and large animals live, is preserved through organic production. These creatures are the farmer’s best collaborators, as they grow valuable humus in the soil – plant nutrients. Without them there is no fertility – no fruit, berries, seeds, flowers, meadows, forests or. life on Earth. The biodiversity of plants, animals and insects is also preserved, as well as pollinators of agricultural plants, such as bees, which allow them to live in a clean environment. When the depleted soil and environment will no longer produce food due to toxins, can we imagine what we will do then?

ENABLES SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTHY WORKPLACES
Producing food without artificial means provides healthy jobs at all levels, from the earth to people. The production, processing and marketing of healthy food are among the fastest growing economic activities in the world. Organic food also enables life for future generations. We can build something good together. Of course, it is very important that we understand, when we talk about sustainable development and healthy jobs, that we mean the production of direct food for humans and not livestock farming.

ORGANIC FOOD IS THE CHEAPEST IN THE LONG TERM
Non-organic food or food by artificial means is basically more expensive. Its price on the sales shelf would increase if the costs of long-term destruction of human health and the environment were taken into account, and if billions in subsidies were added to chemical agriculture and food processing by the state. taxpayers. In the European Union, we spend about 1/3 of the total budget on agriculture, which means around 360 billion euros. In the USA, organic farming receives 6% of subsidies, the rest is conventional, chemical agriculture. The price of food on the market or on the sales shelf in the store is not correct. Citizens, consumers, before we shop in the store, we pay agricultural subsidies for these products through taxes, and then we will be able to pay through human diseases, polluted environment due to all the agrochemistry that goes into the fields and into nature, and through artificial additives that go into food products. These products look at first glance, cheap at the time, but this is a scam. ‘What goes around, comes around’. Even if we look only at the price when it comes to food, organic or natural food is a logical choice. Despite the fact that we deduct a bit more for organic food today, this price is relatively fair.

WHICH FOOD IS HEALTHY?
Healthy food comes from healthy soil and a healthy environment. Such plants bear healthy fruits that transmit this health to us. We usually think that healthy foods are fruits, vegetables, wholemeal bread… Hold on! However, food must also be grown or processed in a healthy way. This means: only with natural techniques and means. Free of plastics, fertilizers, sprays, free of artificial additives, which are prohibited in organic food production. Food can be produced without plastics, even if it is not organically certified. This, in turn, requires a greater degree of awareness and research from the consumer, a precise knowledge of the origin and method of production. Depending on the origin, the healthiest food is of plant origin.
